So how has the global recession has affected trade in the British isles

In the UK the unemployment situation has taken a down slide over the preceding years. An escalation in the cost of living, shipping costs, petrol tax and a manufacturing decline has all had its effect on the work situation in the United Kingdom. Our government is planning more cuts to government spending and greater job loses are estimated in the future and there is very little sign of the recession receding in the near future. The entire Nation has suffered with very little exception, Manchester, London, Liverpool and Birmingham have all have all suffered under the economic climate, all the principal towns and cites have seen an increase in unemployment.
It is not all doom and gloom for some industry sectors though, several industries are blooming at the present, insurance firms, banks and the accident claims organizations especially the no win no fee law practices are all making a profit at this present moment in time.

The high street banks always seem to be making a profit, and there higher directors are always receiving considerable cash rewards, it seems a bit ironic though when its down to the banks for the state of the economic situation that we are in at the present. There are employment opportunities available in the financial arena from managerial positions down to counter staff, this is another field of business that will always be in demand.

Auto insurance companies are another area that always seem to be making a profit, as a legal necessity for all car owners in the British isles it is mandatory and we all have to pay motor insurance in order to comply with the laws of the country. A job in this business arena would be a clever move, as we are legally bound to buy insurance whether it be vehicle insurance, house insurance or any other variety of insurance policy that is pushed our way.

Compensation claims are also now a growing concern with a lot of cash involved, the no win no fee claim has opened the flood gates for countless thousands of compensation claims. This would be a good game to get into but you would have to retrain in the legal profession which by no means is straight forward.
