How the global recession has affected jobs in the British isles

The employment situation in the United kingdom has taken a definite turn for the worse over the last few years. An escalation in the cost of living, shipping costs, petroleum duty and a manufacturing decrease has all had its effect on the employment situation in the UK. Our government is making more spending cuts and a whole lot more job loses are expected in the future and there is very little sign of the decline lessening in the future. The whole of the UK has suffered with very little exception, Manchester, London, Liverpool and Birmingham have all been casualties of the economic situation, all the major cities and towns have seen a growth in unemployment.

There are employment opportunities obtainable in the banking industry from directorial roles down to teller staff, this is another field of business that will always be in demand.

Insurance organizations are another arena that always seem to be making a profit, as a legal must for all drivers in the United kingdom it is unavoidable and we all have to pay motor insurance in order to comply with the laws of the British isles. A job in this industry would be a clever move, as we are legally bound to buy insurance whether it be vehicle insurance, home insurance or any other kind of insurance policy that is pushed our way.

Compensation claims are also now big business with a lot of money involved, the no win no fee claim has opened the flood gates for endless thousands of accident claims.
